Car Boat Hybrid Motor Kit

This educational construction set supports assembly of a simple electric circuit that drives an air-propelled model capable of operating on land and water. It uses a battery-powered motor, switch-controlled wiring, interchangeable propellers, and wheel-and-axle components to demonstrate motion, polarity reversal, propulsion, balance, friction reduction, and buoyant vehicle design. Caution:

Small parts may pose a choking hazard. Adult supervision required. Use only the recommended voltage for safe operation. Verify and compare kit contents before use. Styrofoam should be cut with a utility knife only under appropriate supervision; hold the knife at a sharp angle, avoid excessive force, and repeat cuts as needed for a clean edge. Center the battery because it is heavy and affects balance on water; adjust balance with other onboard weight if required. Make sure wheels are large enough and spin freely. The pictured boat design has no steering mechanism unless one is added. If wheels are not included in a specific kit version, wheels from a plastic toy car may be used instead.
